From the EditorMary Judge turned me on to SnagIt not too long ago, and I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this "little program that could." We just keep finding more and more that it can do! Mary is here this week to share just some of the fantastic things this tool can do for you. Be fierce!
SnagIt — Capture, Edit & Share
I'm going to tell you about something that will take are of all of that... and more. The program I'm referring to is SnagIt by TechSmith Corporation. Since first using the program to do all the things described above, I've delved further into it and have found so many more different uses it's hard to know where to start. Screen capturing is just the beginning. Now that you have a picture of the Web site, what do you want to do with it? Do you need to make drawings on it, circle something, add an arrow or highlight to point out a specific spot to someone? Perhaps you need to point out a particular drop-down menu, but you don't know how to capture it. Or maybe you need to create a PDF file of a Web page and keep all the links. SnagIt can do all that and more! Not only can you capture screenshots, you can edit images and then share them with your clients, employees and suppliers. Screenshots are not just limited to the Internet either. You can take screenshots of virtually anything on your screen and edit them. Some of the other things you can do include:
I'm sure the list is much longer and I've only scratched the surface. And you can get all this for as little as $39.95. Happy capturing and editing! RESOURCE: To find out more, visit the SnagIt page at http://www.techsmith.com/screen-capture.asp.
