Make Your Inbox Better with ClearContext
ClearContext
is an Outlook add-on (Outlook 2007 or Outlook 2003;
Windows XP or Vista) to help organize your email and make your inbox better.
The personal edition costs nothing and allows you to instantly file and
organize email, browse pictures and documents, and cleanup cluttered inboxes.

What it does is keep your messages organized by automatically suggesting
the right folders to instantly file messages and entire conversations
with a single click. It highlights the most important messages in your
inbox from your most important contacts. The threaded conversation view
allows you to easily follow email conversations as part of each email
message.
Attachments and contacts are kept right at your fingertips. You can:
- View attachments and contacts from emails in each folder;
- Sort, save and forward attachments;
- Create distribution lists, meeting requests, etc. from your contacts;
- Explore and preview attachments within Outlook just like folders on
your desktop.
Upon setting up your free ClearContext personal edition, the setup wizard
walks you through the steps of identifying your important contacts and
prioritizing and color-coding them. What else is kinda nifty after setting
up is that it gives you some analytics about how big your Inbox workload
is currently and how well you are currently managing. I've got a pretty
good handle on things already, but I'm already seeing some definite added
conveniences and it will be interesting to see how much more I can improve
things.
The ClearContext Pro version gives you even more functionality and turns
Outlook into a powerful project management tool. With ClearContext Pro,
you can see all your information organized by project, share project contacts
and documents, turn emails into appointments and tasks, and never miss
an important reply again.

The ClearContext
Pro Project Dashboard is a control panel that pulls together all the information
related to a project into a single combined view of email threads, contacts,
attachments, appointments and tasks. ClearContext automatically identifies
contacts and attachments in your projects and folders so that you can
quickly and easily share information with your team. Emails can be automatically
turned into tasks and appointments with a single click. Delegate email
to others for completion and track their progress. Defer emails to remove
them from your inbox and set them to reappear at a later date when you're
ready to deal with them. Alerts notify you of unread messages from important
senders or conversations and automatically remind you if you don't receive
a timely response to an important message you sent.
