TECHNOLOGY ISSUE

In This Issue:

A Note from Danielle...

Please join me this issue in welcoming Nicole Paull, our latest contributing member author. She brings you a terrific and very informative article this week on a technology tool that can singlehandedly eliminate the need for all your other stand-alone services. You'll be glad to learn of this one.

Also, be sure and check out our Marketplace section... my favorite women's wealth empowerer, Mikelann Valterra, has a fun and fantastic program coming up and I want to make sure we get the word out to as many people as possible (so even if you can't make it, please do tell all your business buddies).

Yours in goodness and success!

Danielle K.

Inject Some Infusion Into Your Business Automation

InfusionsoftAs a business-owner, how much time do you spend managing relationships with your customers? Do you have one solution for day-to-day correspondence, another for shopping cart and autoresponder capability, and yet another to manage your inventory? How much easier would your life be with just ONE seamless solution to give you all of the following:

  • The ability to view the e-mail and purchasing history of each of your contacts;
  • A way to automatically add or remove contacts from tags and/or autoresonders based on their purchases or other actions, which would in turn enable you to:
  • Create custom marketing lists based on multiple criteria, thus eliminating the possibility of aggravating contacts by marketing something to them that they've already purchased;
  • A shopping cart;
  • Delivery of digital products;
  • Tracking of your marketing campaigns;
  • E-mail (and/or an interface to work with your existing Outlook email);
  • Tasks and calendaring;
  • Tracking of products sold, enabling you to see quickly which products are selling well and which are underperforming;
  • Inventory management;
  • A web-based portal, so that you'll be able to log in and work from anywhere that has Internet access;
  • An efficient way to manage an affiliate program;
  • ... and more!

Infusionsoft is the answer. It is a program that fully replaces any stand-alone SAAS (software as a service) products you currently use such as autoresponders, shoppingcarts, contact management, email marketing, etc. So instead of having multiple services, each of which takes care of one or two aspects of your business, you’ll have one service that takes care of them all.

Having used the product for two years, I can add that in addition to the above, it's easy to learn, with a simple, user-friendly interface. And should you run into questions or problems, I have nothing but good things to say about their technical support team. The company also makes migration easy by (for a fee) importing and organizing your contacts, and setting up any custom fields that may be necessary, so that you can easily pull up targeted lists of your customers. Support and training is available during setup. They offer different levels of support, so you can choose the amount that makes the most sense for your individual business.

If you're not sure the cost is justified (plans cost between $199 and $499 per month, depending on the features you want and the amount of contacts you have), here's a simple solution:

  1. Over the course of two weeks or a month, write down the time spent on every task that could be automated using Infusionsoft (or ask your Virtual Assistant to track this, if you work with one).

  2. Multiply the time spent by your (or your Virtual Assistant's) hourly rate.

  3. Add to this any monthly subscription fees for services that Infusionsoft can replace, such as your current email marketing and shopping cart services, to come up with a dollar figure of what it's costing you to continue to do things the way you are.

You may find that you're closer than you think to implementing this robust, all-in-one solution.

RESOURCE: Infusionsoft offers a 15-day no-cost trial, so you can try the service out with no risk.
